Dergaon, Assam – May 21, 2025: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday chaired a high-level conference of Superintendents of Police (SPs) at the Assam Police Academy in Dergaon. The key focus of the conference was to review and enhance the state’s internal security framework, ensure citizen safety, and accelerate police modernization.
The day-long conference brought together senior police officers from across the state to discuss critical issues such as crime prevention, counter-insurgency operations, cybercrime, narcotics control, and border security.
