New Delhi, May 21, 2025 — India has firmly rejected Pakistan’s accusations linking it to the recent Khuzdar blast, calling the claims a "desperate attempt" to divert international attention from Pakistan's own internal instability. In an official statement issued today, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) labeled the allegations as "baseless" and "fabricated," emphasizing that such tactics are doomed to fail in the face of global scrutiny.
India Denounces Pakistan’s Claims as Politically Motivated
The MEA’s response comes after Pakistan alleged Indian involvement in the tragic explosion that occurred in Khuzdar, Balochistan, resulting in multiple casualties. Indian officials dismissed the charges as part of a broader strategy by Islamabad to externalize its domestic failures and create false narratives.
"Pakistan’s continuing attempts to internationalize its internal problems by blaming India will not find any takers. The world is increasingly aware of Pakistan’s duplicity in sponsoring and harboring terrorism while simultaneously playing the victim," the MEA spokesperson said.
Global Community Not Convinced by Pakistan’s Narrative
India's statement stressed that the global community is well aware of Pakistan’s history of promoting cross-border terrorism and its deteriorating law and order situation, especially in Balochistan. Analysts suggest that Pakistan’s claims are a means to distract from rising internal unrest and pressure from global watchdogs over its counter-terrorism record.
Security experts point out that the Khuzdar region has long been plagued by separatist violence and militant activity, and it is Pakistan's responsibility to secure its own territory. They add that blaming India for such incidents lacks credibility and deflects from meaningful introspection and governance.
India's Global Image Remains Resilient
India reiterated its commitment to regional peace and stability, stating that it continues to act responsibly on the international stage, in stark contrast to Pakistan’s frequent use of disinformation. New Delhi also called on Islamabad to focus on rooting out terrorism from its own soil rather than engaging in propaganda.
"This is yet another futile attempt by Pakistan to hoodwink the world. The international community must call out such diversionary tactics and hold Islamabad accountable for its own governance failures," the statement added.
