Chandigarh, May 22, 2025 — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini led a spirited Tiranga Yatra today, calling the event an important occasion to pay homage to the deep-rooted sense of patriotism that binds the nation. The yatra witnessed massive public participation and was marked by an atmosphere of national pride and unity.
The Tiranga Yatra, organized to celebrate India’s unity and honor the sacrifices made by freedom fighters, began with the ceremonial unfurling of the national flag by CM Nayab Singh Saini. Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Saini emphasized the significance of such events in fostering love for the country among the younger generation.
“This Tiranga Yatra is not just a march, but a symbol of the respect we hold for our freedom fighters and the values they stood for,” said the Chief Minister. “It is an occasion to pay homage to the undying sense of patriotism that has always inspired our great nation.”
The event was attended by various state officials, local leaders, and citizens from all walks of life. Colorful national flags, patriotic songs, and chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” filled the air, turning the event into a vibrant celebration of India's national spirit.
The Chief Minister also encouraged people to take pride in India’s democratic values and rich cultural heritage, stating that such events help strengthen the fabric of unity and integrity in the country.
The Tiranga Yatra concluded with a pledge by participants to uphold the values of the Constitution, maintain communal harmony, and contribute towards building a stronger and more united India.
