Continued Crackdown on Terror Networks
A senior police official stated, “Such actions are part of our zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism. Any individual or group aiding, abetting, or harboring terrorists will face strict legal consequences, including the seizure of properties used in unlawful activities.”
Over the past few years, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have intensified operations against terror sympathizers, handlers, and overground workers (OGWs) who act as the local support system for militant outfits. The aim is to cut off all logistical and financial support that fuels terrorism in the Union Territory.
Community Support Encouraged
The local administration has urged the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and report any suspicious activities in their neighborhoods. Such measures are crucial in maintaining peace and ensuring the long-term safety and development of the region.
